Power snatches -  These were OK, just had to focus on “popping” the hips.. Could definitely tell the difference when I got it.

Power cleans - I haven’t tested these in a while, but was pleasantly surprised with the two sets of 70kg. They felt like 60. Didn’t get to test them any further ‘cos we had to get ready for the wod.. But I’ll try these again sometime next week.

  • Max reps Deadlift (100/70kg)

  • 200m run
  • Max reps Thrusters (40/30kg)

Score = Total reps of Snatch, Jerk, Deadlift, Thrusters

COMPLETED: 100 reps RX

Did this one outside in the sun with Sam, Shan, Dru and Jase.. Geez, what a sweat fest.

Double unders - 111 reps in 2 minutes. I think I got around 75 unbroken reps, then the rest were in sets of around 10-15, cos I kept stuffing up lol.

Burpees and Sit ups - All good. Nothing to it but to do it.

Snatch - 40kg for 21 reps in the remainder of the 5 mins, most were power snatched, but a few were muscle snatches too.. Where I pressed it out at the top of the movement. 

Jerks - 40kg for 40 reps. I was such a clumsy muppet with these. At one point, I lost focus and the bar partially dropped on my head (yeahhhh it hurt) then shortly after, I dropped the bar and it landed funny and rebounded back into my left knee (yeahhh that hurt too.) 

HSPU - These were ok. Got 8 unbroken kipped reps, then did the rest in either 2s or 3s. They took up a lot of the 5 minute time cap though. 

Deadlifts - 80kgs for 15 unbroken reps. Happy with these.. Though wish I got the extra 5 reps to round it up nicely lol. Just took too much time with the bloody HSPU’s to get a decent amount of reps with these.

200m run - More like a shuffle…

Thrusters - 30kg. Busted out 24 reps of these, was just happy it was the last movement of the wod.
